Glass Display Case

I always wanted something to showcase my collectibles.  After many searches and seeing the prices both online and locally I came to the conclusion that building my own case was the better way to go.

The first case I built was a 12" (W) x 48" (L) x 24" (H) all glass display.  It requires 4 12" x 12" and 7 12" x 48" tempered glass.  It has 2 levels both 12" tall.  I ordered all the materials online and total material cost without shipping was $100.64.  I thought it would require two people to assemble it since I am pretty short.  However it was not too bad once I got the base built and only took me 2 hours to put the whole thing together.

The second and third cases I built was a 12" (W) x 12" (L) x 48" (H) all glass display.  It requires 6 12" x 12" and 4 12" x 48" tempered glass.  It has 4 shelves where the bottom shelf is 12" tall and the rest are 9" tall.  Material cost for the vertical case was $76.96.  This one was harder to build than the one before as the shelves need alignment.
