Buccellati's line about doing the 'right thing'?

Postby Kira Kira » Tue Feb 09, 2016 2:04 am

I feel like this is turning into something of a habit for me, but I just can't help it. Anyway, could someone translate this quote from Buccellati for me, please?

I think it's shortly after he betrays the Boss. I know it's more or less about him believing that he did the right thing (by escaping with Trish), but as usual, the old translation seems to slightly fuck up the real meaning.
"The patterned juggler lifts his hand; the orchestra begin.
As slowly turns the grinding wheel, in the Court of the Crimson King."

I did it because I believed it was the "right" thing to do.
I have no regrets...
Even in times like this, I want to walk "a path I can believe in"!

Last line is kind of hard to word properly, the first bit is literally "it's an era like this, but" which I guess is something about not giving up on your beliefs even in difficult times/circumstances.
